This module is in development. The idea for the Back to Top module came from this website. Many websites use links to take the reader back to the top of the page from consistent places on the page, such as repeated headers or footers. Why not create a module that places them there automatically. In addition, the module will have instruction on how to create the smooth scrolling action as seen on this site.
Since not all links might have the same "top" location, the module will allow for various instances to be defined. For example, on article pages the "top" might be the title of teh article while on other pages it might be the top of the webpage. Furthermore, some instances might use the word "top." some might use a phrase such as "back to top" and other might include an image.
Socialize is currently in development. The idea is to provide a single module that can add links to all social networking sites such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Digg, Reddit, etc, and set them for a variety of purposes. Mainly, there will be 3 configurations: site wide links (i.e. to "follow us"), user links to allow each user to attach links to their profile, and node sharing so users can share articles or any other node that they find interesting.
Administrators will have the capability of adding images to any of the links so they can create matching image sets. They can also add or remove any social site and limit which are available to certain configurations. For example, if you wanted the user links to be smaller icons an you want to limit users to just Facebook and MySpace, you can do that while using a larger image set to display 10 different links for the node links.
Ultimately, socialize will integrate with the Views module for customizability.
